1. Agreement to Terms
By using this website, by using our online booking system, or by renting a trailer from Woodfield Trailer Rentals in Montevallo, Alabama, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or book a rental.
These terms apply to every visitor, every booking, and every rental made through Woodfield Trailer Rentals, regardless of how the booking was made.
2. Rental Eligibility
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding rental agreement to rent a trailer from Woodfield Trailer Rentals. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including your name, contact information, and details about the vehicle you will use to tow the trailer.
No special license is required to tow either trailer for personal use. Woodfield Trailer Rentals may decline or cancel a booking if the information provided at booking appears inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent.
3. Booking and Payment
Trailer rentals are booked through our online booking system, any time of day. We offer 1-day, multi-day, and multi-week bookings, with a 40% discount applied automatically when you book multiple days.
The pricing shown to you at the time you complete a booking is the pricing that applies to that rental, and availability is not guaranteed until a booking has been confirmed.
There are no hidden fees. All necessary equipment is included in the rental price. If you have questions about pricing or payment before you book, call us at (205) 843-0202 and we will walk you through it.
4. Pickup and Delivery
Both trailers are stored in a secure facility in Montevallo, AL 35115, and pickup times are scheduled when you book online. Once your booking is confirmed, all pickup instructions are sent directly to your phone.
We offer delivery within 50 miles of our Montevallo lot. Delivery fees vary by distance, so call us for a delivery quote before you book if you would like the trailer brought to you instead of picking it up.
5. Renter Responsibilities
Once a trailer leaves our lot, or is delivered to you, you are responsible for it for the entire rental period. This includes towing the trailer safely with a vehicle and hitch that are appropriately rated for the trailer, operating the trailer in a lawful and safe manner, and returning the trailer in the same condition you received it, undamaged and on time.
Confirming your tow vehicle's capacity is your responsibility. Most modern 1/4 ton trucks are capable of towing around 10,000 pounds, and both of our units are under that weight. The 6X10 Utility Trailer is rated 3,000 lb GVWR, and the 20' Tilt Deck Equipment Trailer is rated 14,000 lb GVWR. You'll need to factor in the weight of your load in addition to the trailer itself and confirm your vehicle's towing capacity. We can help you figure out exactly what you can tow when booking.
Your automobile insurance should cover anything you tow. Please confirm with your provider before taking delivery.
6. Cancellations and Late Returns
You can cancel or modify your reservation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time without any additional fees. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more details, and contact us as soon as possible so we can update the schedule and keep the trailer available for other renters.
Late returns may incur additional charges if the trailer is not returned on or before the scheduled return time.
7. Liability
Woodfield Trailer Rentals is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of a rented trailer. As the renter, you assume responsibility for the lawful and safe operation of the trailer while it is in your possession, including securing your load and towing at safe speeds in compliance with applicable traffic laws.
Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any right or protection that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any dispute arising from these terms, or from a trailer rental with Woodfield Trailer Rentals, will be handled under Alabama law.
